Stefan Popov was born in 1947 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated National Academy for Theater and Film Art in 1975 in the class of Professor Boyan Danovsky. He worked at theaters in Kardzhali, Yambol, and Pazardzhik. Since 1982 he is in the troupe of Plovdiv Drama Theater. He had over 130 theatrical and over 20 cinema roles. He is a monolith in Plovdiv Theater with boundless talent and boundless inspiration. Plovdiv Drama Theater earns much when Stefan Popov moved here. He played many important roles on its stage. Surely Stefan Popov is one of the most honored names on the home scene that deserves admiration.
